Day 28 – Week 4 Progress

Great news!! I lost 8 lbs. in 4 weeks. That’s 2 lbs. a week…so I’m right on target. If my calculations are correct and I lose 2 lbs. a week for 26 weeks (6 months), I will have lost 52 lbs. by the end of May 2012. Day 21 – Week 3 Progress

I’m now on Week 3 of my weight loss journey to lose 50 lbs. and so far so good. I’ve lost 7 lbs. to date! And with the Thanksgiving Holiday to boot My mindset about food has drastically changed and I’m now eating food because I’m genuinely hungry. Day 14 – Week 2 Progress

Great news! I’m right on track. In fact, I’m doing better than staying right on track…I’ve lost 6 lbs. to date. My goal is to stay between 1500-1800 calories a day. Obviously, I was a little fearful of going over my calorie intake on Thanksgiving, but by cutting out the sourdough biscuits I was able to come in just under 1800 calories. Check out these two iPhone Apps I use to track my food intake and workouts. I love using LoseIt on my iPhone to track my daily food intake. The App can now scan bar codes on most of my favorite food items, which helps me to quickly track the foods I’m eating.
